Media representatives wishing to cover Checkmate: USA vs India event must apply for accreditation using the official form located at the bottom of this page. Please note that this is the only valid method of registration—Checkmate SV will not process requests submitted by email or any other means. On-site accreditation will not be available under any circumstances.

Press accreditation for Checkmate: USA vs India is reserved for media professionals representing recognized and verifiable media organizations. All applicants must provide clear evidence of an assignment from a specific outlet, including a formal letter of assignment that lists a recognizable name, physical business address, and contact phone number.
Priority will be given to traditional media—including news agencies, television networks, daily newspapers, sports publications, and established chess media. However, we acknowledge the evolving media landscape and welcome applications from independent journalists, bloggers, podcasters, YouTubers, and other digital content creators.
Applicants in this category will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must submit samples of previous work along with evidence of a consistent track record of quality content aligned with professional standards.
All accredited media representatives are expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity, accuracy, and ethical behavior, in line with journalistic codes of conduct and the values of Checkmate: USA vs India.
Please note that due to limited space, not all applications can be approved. Preference will be given to applicants with a clear editorial mission and a demonstrated history of professional reporting. -
Accreditation photos must meet the following requirements:
One recent, color photo in PDF format
File size must not exceed 1MB
The individual should be photographed against a plain, neutral background
No other individuals should appear in the photo

Media accreditation is granted exclusively for the purpose of covering Checkmate: USA vs India and may not be used for any other event or unrelated activity.
Accreditation does not imply endorsement by Checkmate SV, nor does it confer access beyond the scope of this specific tournament.
Checkmate SV reserves the right to approve, deny, or request additional information for any application at its sole discretion, without obligation to provide justification.
Accreditation may be revoked at any time in cases of misuse, abuse of privileges, or conduct—whether public or private—that is deemed inconsistent with the values, standards, or integrity of the event. Press credentials are strictly non-transferable. Any pass found in the possession of an individual other than the named holder will be immediately confiscated.
